Michelle Dotson was born and raised in Racine, Wisconsin. She graduated from Concordia Nebraska in 2011 with her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and her Lutheran Teacher Diploma. Her first call was to teach kindergarten in York, Nebraska, where she met her husband Tim. They got married and moved to Grand Island in 2013. Mrs. Dotson then served as a called kindergarten teacher in Juniata for four years before accepting the call to teach second grade at Trinity in 2017.

Mrs. Dotson enjoys spending her free time with her husband Tim, their son Henry, and their dogs. She enjoys helping with the Children’s Ministry at Trinity Lutheran Church. She also enjoys drinking coffee, traveling, photography, reading, and crafting.
