Mrs. Linda Ahrens
I have lived most of my life in Nebraska with the exception of a few times when I served on an Ongoing Ambassadors For Christ (OAFC) Travel and Couple Teams as well as from 2017-2019 when my husband and I moved to Missouri.
We have a very friendly black lab, Rosco who loves our daily walks of 4-5 miles. My husband and I also have three beautiful grown daughters living back in Lincoln, along with our grandson, Harrison. We love spending time with our girls and their families!
I have a Lutheran Teaching Degree from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska and have taught children from preschool to eighth grade, as well as serving as principal for 9 years at a Lutheran school in Lincoln, NE. While living in Missouri I taught first grade at 2 public schools.
Christian education is such a blessing and I am no stranger to it, since I also attended Lutheran schools until I reached 9th grade. I love seeing children grow and becoming those life long learners who will eventually lead us not only today in their classes, but in the near future.
My favorite color is red, and reminds me of not only the Huskers, but of Jesus who gave his blood and life for me on the cross, that I might live. If I had to choose a favorite 'sweet treat' it would be dark chocolate and the dark chocolate covered almonds with sea salt I have found to be the most addicting.
I look forward to getting to know you and your children and also watching them grow in their academics, as well as their love of their Savior Jesus.

Favorite Bible Verse: "The Lord your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save;
he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing." (Zephaniah 3:17)
