Mrs. Jerrita Staehr
Mrs. Staehr joined the staff at Trinity in 2008 as the language arts teacher for grades 6-8. After growing up in northern Oklahoma, she attended Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska, where she received her Bachelor's degree in English and her Lutheran Teacher Diploma. She earned her Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri.
Before joining the staff in Grand Island, she taught 5-8 language arts and K-8 music in Freistatt, Missouri. She and her husband Brian, the fifth-grade teacher at Trinity, have four children. They have attended Heartland Lutheran High School and Concordia University-Nebraska.
One of Mrs. Staehr's favorite Bible verses is her Confirmation verse. It gives her inspiration in the ministry as she has the privilege of sharing the Gospel daily: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and the follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand." John 10:27-28
