I grew up on a farm near Dorchester, NE. I attended K-12 school at Dorchester Public schools. I attended Concordia in Seward, NE to study to become a teacher and play volleyball. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education; with a Concentration in Special Education and a minor in Physical Education in 1989. My first call was to Grace Lutheran in Kansas City, KS where I taught for two years. I then took my call to Trinity in Grand Island, NE. I also coach volleyball at Heartland Lutheran High School.

 

I am married to Chris and our children are Courtney (and Ryan) Sullivan, Carter, Ryan Grobe, Claire, and Calie.

 

I enjoy Husker volleyball, spending time with my family, reading, and relaxing while watching TV.
