Mrs. Dawn Stacy
Having a father in the Navy, I was born in Hawaii and moved to a farm community in Nebraska where I grew up with 3 big brothers. I attended parochial school (K-8) public high school (9-12) and went on to Concordia College in Seward, NE. I graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor's degree in Education, a Special Education Endorsement and a minor in Physical Education. My first year of teaching was supporting the surrounding Lincoln country schools with a special education curriculum. I substituted on a daily basis at Faith Lutheran School in Lincoln for 4 years teaching in the K through 6th-grade classrooms and helping with the before & after school program. I took a call to teach 1st & 2nd grade at Zion Lutheran in Pierce in 1995. Over the years at Zion, I have taught children in grades K-8 in some capacity,
My husband John and I love to hang-out with our 5 adult children and 7 grandchildren as much as possible. We enjoy reading, camping and gardening whenever time allows.
Favorite Bible Verse: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9)
