Mrs. Chandler was born and raised in Grand Island, NE. She attended Trinity Lutheran School for the majority of her elementary education. After graduating from Grand Island Senior High, she attended Concordia Teacher's College in Seward, NE.

 

Her first call after graduating from Concordia was to Yorkville, Illinois. She met her husband, Steve, during her first year of teaching. They have three children-all grown and out of the house. They have been blessed with four grandchildren and they are Mrs. Chandler's favorite hobby!

 

She also enjoys playing the piano, reading, and working outside growing flowers and strawberries. They live out in the country, so she also has plenty of creatures to keep her busy outside of school time.
